Use it sensibly, the nutrition figures are estimates, and purchases are handled by Apple. The full terms are below.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Calnexia application ("Calnexia", "the app"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Calnexia is operated by Ciprian-Alexandru Frăsinescu, based in France. Once our company is formed, this operator will be updated to the registered legal entity.
Calnexia is a general wellness and informational tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The calorie targets, macro figures, weight projections, and messages shown in the app are general estimates produced by formulas, not personalised medical guidance.
Using Calnexia does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, changing, or stopping any diet, weight-loss plan, exercise routine, or treatment — especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, an older adult, or have a medical condition such as diabetes, heart, kidney, or thyroid disease.
If you have, or have had, an eating disorder or a difficult relationship with food, calorie and weight tracking can be harmful. Please speak with a healthcare professional before using these features.
If you feel unwell or believe you have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately. Do not rely on Calnexia in any urgent or medical situation.
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Calnexia for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or its content, except as permitted by law.
Calnexia is free to download and use, with optional paid features available through in-app purchase.
All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and are charged to your Apple Account. Calnexia does not handle or store your payment details.
A one-time ("lifetime") purchase unlocks the relevant features for the supported lifetime of the app on your Apple Account, and does not renew.
Purchases are subject to Apple's refund policy. Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by Calnexia.
Nutrition figures in Calnexia come from a curated database and from third-party sources such as Open Food Facts. This information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Calnexia does not guarantee the accuracy of any nutrition value. Always check product packaging and use your own judgement, particularly where accuracy matters for a health reason.
You agree to use Calnexia lawfully and only as intended. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, or use it in any way that could harm Calnexia, other users, or third parties.
Calnexia, including its name, design, text, and software, is owned by its operator and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. The data you enter belongs to you.
Calnexia is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your particular requirements or produce any particular result.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calnexia and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, or from reliance on any information it provides.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
We may update, change, or discontinue features of Calnexia at any time. We may also update these Terms as the app evolves; when we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
You may stop using Calnexia at any time by removing it from your device. We may suspend or end your access to the app if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — including the health disclaimer, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — continue to apply after you stop using the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
